Seyhun's wife Filiz thinks that she is very lucky to have an audiophile husband. Yes, you have not misread it, this is a very unusual case. In fact Filiz likes music and listens more often than Seyhun does. "If Seyhun was not an audiophile, I was going to listen to music with mid-fi systems and it would not have given me the same satisfaction" she says. Seyhun's huge Dunlavy 4 speakers occupy the main living room and there is no WAF to care about: this seems to be an audiophile's utopia.

Seyhun prefers the sound of a well recorded LP to CD but thinks that the inclusion of Genesis Digital Lens narrowed the gap.

Seyhun is a member of Istanbul Hi Fi Club and he listens to jazz (80%) and nostalgic rock / pop (20%).

Seyhun's comments about his System:

AA: "Seyhun, how would you describe your system's sound?"
SA: "Detailed and transparent."
AA: "Do you think there is room for improvement?"
SA: "Yes, I would wish to have more extended low frequencies."
AA: "Have you got plans for upgrading?"
SA: "Yes, if I upgrade my speakers to Dunlavy 5 I will get the bass extension I need. I think my major problem is the acoustic limitation of my listening room, this is another area which needs upgrading."
